The kids and I made a Cinco de Mayo pinata today. They each colored one side of a paper bag (because, yes, I'm that lazy. Also, because we had a Circus parade and did bathtub painting today. Enough is enough.) I suggested flowers, but I was very surprised to see that Dalton actually drew a flower during his turn (which was first). Dalton is 3 1/2 years old and I think this might be the first thing he's drawn that actually looked like anything. He added a bunch more flowers to his garden. The brown flower with the blue stem was the first one.
Here's Maggie's side of the pinata.
