Hong Kong Disneyland

Best. Day. Ever!  Overcast, cool day, low crowds, Christmas decorations, new rides, bring it on!
Sienna got a birthday button

BB-8 was a little shy with Sienna but eventually talked to us.

Sienna's favorite thing was this little garden with different movie scenes.
Toy Story land!  A for Arthur!

Someone is tired of all the pictures.  We were waiting to visit Santa Goofy!

Hong Kong: Lantau Island

As a gift to Sienna, we did a Lantau tour to cut down on walking (bus to ferry to bus to gondola to bus to hotel).  Sienna met another girl her age from Australia so the bus ride was fun for her.  I just enjoyed the peace of Lantau, the best island!
I just love this island scenery.  Mountains meets the sea.
Strike a pose.  I took a picture of Maggie and Dalton in this same spot in 2011.

We hit Stanley market on our last day before our flight home.  The market is fun, and the back side of the island is so serene.  We took a more scenic route back home, securing the front row of the double decker bus!

Hong Kong: City, Boat and Church

Introducing Sienna to my favorite Hong Kong watering hole:  Statue Square in front of the HSBC.  We rode the trolley here, then walked up to the Peak tram.
She was obsessed with this lion.  Not sure why.

Taking in the view!
Posing for Arthur
It was fun to be there near the holiday and see the decorations

After a long day, we watched the sun set in TST and watched the city light up.  We rode the ferry here and back to our hotel.  The weather was so perfect and, being a Saturday night, the pier was full of people.  It was great.

Love the neon reflections!
Birthday morning!

I could not believe Brother Benji was at church!  It was great to see an old friend!  Island I branch.

Times Square (where we stayed) had a Peanuts Christmas display.  We saw them put it up during our week there.  It was fun to watch the progress each night when we came home.

Hong Kong: Ocean Park

First things first:  Our flight landed at 7 am so we headed out to Ocean Park for a very long day to overcome the jet lag.  And it worked!  We went to bed that night at 6, as soon as the sun went down, slept until 9 the next morning, and we were ready to rock the Kong!

I think this was Sienna's favorite thing.  I sat here eating almonds for about 30 minutes while she played here.

We didn't win a Peppa Pig (thank goodness)!
Rickshaw selfie!

Love the backside of the island; complete 180 from what's over those mountains.  So gorgeous!
I just love this city!

Random November

Veteran's Day breakfast with friends. Rather ambitious endeavor from us moms.

 Turkey in disguise.
Temple visit while dropping Dalton off at scouts.

The crib broke, and I let the kids go crazy with the mattress before garbage day.

Thanksgiving made by me.

Black Friday shopping.

Christmas lights!
