Disney This Week
On Wednesday, I took all three kids after school. Here's some proof that I did it. I've done it a lot of times, actually. Once you're off the tram, it's not so hard! Just a handful of trips left.
The kids were a bit scared of the piranhas on the Jungle Cruise.
Smirk.
Baby loves it's a small world.
We made another great trip on Saturday. I made Dalton's Angry Birds hat too small and he can't pull it all the way down on his head. Which makes him look a little taller... tall enough to go on some new rides!
He even got to go on Soarin' twice - they let me take both kids with the Rider Switch.
No such luck with the Tower of Terror, which is totally understandable.
Girl in Sling
I've only been using the baby sling with Sienna regularly for a week or so, but I am loving it just as much as I did with Dalton. It's been especially nice because I've been able to get her to nap places she otherwise wouldn't have. (I've tried three times to get fabric at Jo-Ann to make one for Sienna - something girly and new - but I keep getting foiled. Maybe one more attempt before I just order fabric online.)
After taking a nap at gymnastics.
Arms free at the mall.
Asleep at Disneyland.
Asleep at swimming lessons.
Asleep at Disneyland again.

The Little Things
Making home more fun.
Playing iPad in a pillow house.
Hiding from monsters under the covers.
Car play place and doing homework.
At South Coast Plaza, getting a free reusable bag from the Disney Store for Earth Day.
Shaving Cream
Shaving cream is a very popular messy play medium, but this is the first time we used it. I just squirted some (possibly too much) onto trays for the kids to draw letters on. I ended up spending the entire play time taking care of a Sienna mess, so all I know is that the kids got their hands messy. That's an improvement from Dalton.

I am smart.
My beautiful 6 year old daughter wrote this on the back of her in-class journal when she finished early and had extra time.
I am smart. I like it. It is cool. I love you. I am a wise owis [owl - the school mascot]. You are smart like me.
I hope she always has such confidence in herself. I blogged here about being a better mother to my Maggie Girl.

House of Sillies
Dalton put on daddy's hat and pretended to be Fix-it Felix from Wreck-it Ralph (the kids' FAVORITE movie). Daddy got out the hammer to complete the costume.
Building a pillow house.
The intended purpose was a throw-up bucket, but I much prefer this.
New dress from Grandma.
Sienna thinks swimming lessons are boring, but who asked her. Dalton is jumping in, and Maggie is on her teacher's back on the right.
Little Corona Beach {Corona del Mar}
New favorite beach! With both tidepools and sandy spots, lots of parking and a fun little hike, this beach beats out all the others we've been to lately. Also, it is closer to our house.
Update: Maggie drew this scene for one of her journals for school. (I tried several times to point out it should be "crabs ARE colorful" but to no avail.)
Spot the crabs.
Sienna finally fell asleep in the sling while we were checking out the tide pools.
