Arthur's Spread Out Birthday

Arthur had a bit of everything for his birthday - an early outing with a friend, gas station dippin dots on his actual birthday, and presents and cake with friends a few days later.

Thanksgiving Snow

We got 1/2" snow on Thanksgiving morning.  We went sledding in our pajamas like crazy Californians. 

I made the kids help with dinner, which was excellent.

 

Sienna's Barbie Birthday

For Sienna's 8th birthday, she asked for roller blades and Barbies.

She's pretty thrilled with the gymnastics Barbie from Grandma.

Halloween Costumes: Food

 This year we took a loss on our Halloween costumes. We didn't want to use one of our great theme ideas when we wouldn't get to use our costumes much, and then we actually got to use them even less than we thought.  But they turned out cute, mostly thanks to my friend who made all of the girls' headbands.

Grandpa's Funeral

We were sad to say goodbye to Grandpa this October.

 

Knott's Taste of Fall-o-Ween

We went with our best neighbors to the Knott's taste of Fall-o-Ween event. And I'm so glad we did because it turned out to be pretty much the only Halloween fun we had.
