Halloween Costumes: Food

 This year we took a loss on our Halloween costumes. We didn't want to use one of our great theme ideas when we wouldn't get to use our costumes much, and then we actually got to use them even less than we thought.  But they turned out cute, mostly thanks to my friend who made all of the girls' headbands.

Grandpa's Funeral

We were sad to say goodbye to Grandpa this October.

 

Knott's Taste of Fall-o-Ween

We went with our best neighbors to the Knott's taste of Fall-o-Ween event. And I'm so glad we did because it turned out to be pretty much the only Halloween fun we had.

 

Dalton Turns 11

For Dalton's birthday, we had Bowser shell cupcakes, made ice cream in a bag with the neighbors, and went on a family dessert hop at the outdoor mall.

 

New House

 Covid drove us to do something we probably should have done a couple years ago - we moved to a bigger house. It happened to coincide with the kids going back to school, but they'll probably be home again soon, so whatever.

First (Actual) Day of School

We were so pleased to send our kids to school in person toward the end of September.  Maggie goes two days/week, Dalton and Sienna have regular schedule, and Arthur goes every day, but only for 2 1/2 hours.

Wally is handling the separation better than expected.  It's good for him.
