Joshua Tree National Park

On a Friday night, we drove out to Joshua Tree with some friends.  Kids threw up, kids fell into cacti, dinner was late, and the drive was long, but we had a great time.  We climbed rocks, watched the sunset, and then stayed until after dark and watched the stars.  It was beautiful, and a great break from reality.

Sherman Gardens

My friend and I went to the Sherman Gardens in Newport Beach.  My San Diego Botanic Garden membership got us in for free. The gardens were small, but really neat, and there was a really cool sculpture display of recycled art. While we were there, we also went to see the giant bunny, bunnyhenge, and other art at the nearby library and sculpture garden.

Quarantine Fun

We tried to have what fun we could during our three months of quarantine.  We spent time in hammocks at the park and in the "secret spot" in our neighborhood, picnicked in the park, went for walks and hikes of every description, "actively recreated" at the beach, scootered, had a ton of movie nights, did crafts, climbed trees and etc. And we were glad when it was done.

St. Patrick's Day Traditions

Keeping up with our St. Patrick's Day traditions during quarantine.  We did chalk rainbows, green selfies, and ate a snack of green food with rainbow and gold treats.
