Daddy of 3 1/2

I started this blog post in April (these pictures were taken the weekend Maggie was baptized, when Grandma and Aunt Jamie were visiting) and I was newly pregnant and verrrrry sick.  Just wanted to show my hubby taking on all the kids so I could throw up on the side of the road as I pleased.

Let's Go Angels!

John scored 4 tickets to a Saturday afternoon Angels game, so we took the whole family.

Sienna was remarkably well behaved the first 7 1/2 innings.

Everyone had a great time. The kids loved it! And we won. ;)

Big Purse/Mini Diaper Bag

I've wanted a bigger purse for a while now, something that holds a water bottle in addition to everything else, basically.  Of course, I had to make one, because I couldn't find one. I ordered the dandelion fabric from fabric.com after thinking it over for a month.  It's canvas, and I used heavy interfacing as well. I found the butter yellow polka dots at Jo-ann for the lining - just what I was looking for!  I used this basic sling bag tutorial, but I didn't measure. I just made a pattern from newspaper that looked about the size I was looking for. I also added topstitching, which I don't think was mentioned in the tutorial.

I. Love. It.  It'll be perfect for times I don't want to haul a diaper bag around, but of course, still need to bring diapers. Because soon I will have a kid in diapers again.

Here's the inside!  I used a magnetic snap for the first time, and made a pocket to fit the iphone I don't have yet.

Anyone who knows me well should be shocked at this picture.

I had Rachel take a picture of my "pregnancy nails" so I could start biting them again. For some reason (and this happened with Maggie, too), my nails got incredibly long the last week of pregnancy. I think the reason I kept them for 3 weeks after is because I didn't do much driving.

Also, I'm wearing my wedding ring again, yay!

One more month

30 Weeks

I'm 30 weeks along on Saturday. Today I tried on just about every clean shirt I had, but they were all too hot or too short. Even though I am doing laundry more (I only bought so many pairs of training pants) I don't have enough summery maternity clothes. So I went to Jo-Ann and spent $3 on some fabric and made a new shirt. I think I got the pattern down this time around, including short sleeves. It fits really well and is long enough - the problem the last maternity shirt I made had. Previous shirts.
This picture was taken exactly three months before Maggie was born, at about 29 weeks since she was so late. Yes, December, no coat. The good old days.

Baby Bump: 16 weeks

Here I am at 16 weeks. I tried to find my belly pics from Maggie, but no such luck. I can promise I am much bigger this time around though; I hid my pregnancy until 15 weeks with Maggie.
