1-2-3 Eepie
We finally got a bedspread for Maggie. We found this at IKEA on clearance for $3. At that price, I'd have bought it just to use the fabric. It came with a bright green flat sheet and a pillowcase. We had to buy a duvet to go in it, and she won't sleep with it yet, but she loves to play with it.
New Office
We moved our office to the random room at the foot of our stairs and set up our new furniture. Here is the "office" side.

Baby Gown
Couldn't help myself and started the baby sewing today. I made this tiny little gown - the pattern said Newborn and meant it. I even enlarged the pattern a bit. Maggie wanted to know where hers was. In a box in the basement being PINK, that's where.

T-shirt Bag
Leonard sent me a t-shirt of Mom's with cute dinosaurs on it and I made it into a bag using this tutorial. The only thing I did differently was square up the bottom at the end, by pinching the sides on the bottom and sewing a diagonal line. Then I cut off the triangle of excess fabric.
30 Weeks
I'm 30 weeks along on Saturday. Today I tried on just about every clean shirt I had, but they were all too hot or too short. Even though I am doing laundry more (I only bought so many pairs of training pants) I don't have enough summery maternity clothes. So I went to Jo-Ann and spent $3 on some fabric and made a new shirt. I think I got the pattern down this time around, including short sleeves. It fits really well and is long enough - the problem the last maternity shirt I made had. Previous shirts.
This picture was taken exactly three months before Maggie was born, at about 29 weeks since she was so late. Yes, December, no coat. The good old days.

Popsicle Face
Not a lot of Maggie-photo-taking going on, and the only sewing I've been doing is mending. I have been scrapbooking a lot though and I'm just about done. So, here is a popsicle-face girl who wanted her picture taken while I was taking pictures of my layouts.*popsicle=potty training reward. It's going well.

Cascade Springs
While staying at the cabin this weekend, we also went to Cascade Springs. It was a 15-mile drive, nice and slow with lots of wildflowers and beautiful views. The pools at the springs were so amazing. It looked like a botanical garden gone wild. Little waterfalls spilling from pool to pool, bridges and boardwalks, wildflowers, and clear water (so you can see the "iffies" of course).
This is the new "oh no!" picture. Maggie thought this duck was hilarious as it looked for food.Timpanogos Cave
As part of our "staycation" this summer, we hiked to Timpanogos Cave and did a tour. It's a very steep 1.5 mile hike to the top and I barely made it.
Maggie was afraid of the cave at first, but once we started moving, she enjoyed looking at the rocks and water. But the thing she told her grandparents about it was that they turned the lights off. She's just pointing; she knows "no touching."
