Surf City 5K

The boys ran the Surf City 5K in Huntington Beach.

 

Turkey Trot

On Thanksgiving morning, we did the short, dog-friendly, kid-friendly Turkey Trot at IVC.

 

Terrain Race

We did a nearby Terrain Race, which had fun obstacles, mud pits, and 5K of trails.  Sienna and I cut across half of it and barely survived - turns out we had the flu. But it was still fun.

Dalton Runs

 Dalton signed up for a one-time cross county event at school.  He practiced with the team a few times a week, and then they competed in a 2-mile race at a local college.

Surf City

John ran the Surf City 10-miler.

 

Catalina 10K.

John and Dalton went to Catalina Island for a night to run a 10K.

They also did an off-roading Jeep tour of the island.

John also ran his first half marathon in Huntington Beach.
 

Disney Super Heroes 10K and Kids Race

John ran the Disney 10K.  We went up and stayed in a nearby hotel so he could just walk over in the morning. Then we got to hang out at Downtown Disney the night before.

He also did the kids race with Arthur and Sienna.
