Olympic Peninsula

For our family trip this summer we drove (!) to the Olympic Peninsula in Washington, and hung out with the Prestons in our lake cabins.

Hiking, mostly without kids.

North Beach in Port Townsend, where I made everyone hunt for sea glass with me.

Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park.  We had a picnic and did a 1 mile hike to the top to see Canada across the way.

John took Maggie and Dalton on a fishing excursion with the Francos. They caught lots of salmon we ate for dinner the next couple nights.

Hoh Rainforest. We took turns doing the Hall of Mosses hike since Wally wasn't allowed.

Ruby Beach where we found no sea glass, but had fun stacking rocks and playing in the "river"

Ice cream at this little shop for the third time.

And a lot of time spent playing on the lake with cousins, kayaking etc.

High Steel Bridge, made 10x cooler by Franco's drone.
