The Grand Canyon State

Our actual trip to the actual Grand Canyon was our least favorite part of our whole Arizona trip, because we did so many other fun things!

We took the train from Williams, which was very convenient, except Wally couldn't ride, so we also had to drive.  But it worked out. We walked a mile or so along the rim trail and back.

We stayed in Flagstaff, and one day John, Maggie and Dalton did a ropes course while the little kids played in the snow piles, and Wally whined.

We went to a deer farm where we got to feed deer and pet Wallabies!

We had a private experience at Lowell Observatory.  It was so cold and so late, but we all loved it.

And we did two hikes in Sedona. One along a dry creek to a box canyon, and the other crossing over a stream over and over.  Both were lots of fun - Wally also enjoyed.

Also, the very worst thing was Wally getting lost - and thankfully found.
