Christmas Eve Party and Hay Ride

Traditional Christmas Eve party with John's extended family at his aunt's house.

Maggie got to be one of the wise men.

We went on a very long, caroling hay ride.  Maggie and Kyli were convinced they saw Santa's sleigh. It was cold. And, ok, maybe it was fun and magical!

Eventually, John bored a screaming Sienna to sleep by showing her the family photo album (on his phone).

Temple Square

We got to Utah in the early afternoon. The first thing the kids did was go play in the snow and it was the only chance they got.

Taking TRAX downtown

Temple Square

I love my family!

We ran into Sister Serah, who was in our branch in India and is now serving a mission at Temple Square. So fun!

Airplane Baby

Sienna learned how to sign airplane and was doing it on her own just in time for the trip.

She got a little confused at the airport when she heard airplanes and signed it, but didn't see anything up in the sky.

John (apparently) took this lovely photo of us boarding the plane.

And on the way home. Sooooo tired.

California Christmas

While we were freezing in Utah, our friends were posting Christmas Eve pictures on the beach. Here are some pictures we took just before heading out.

Ran into Santa cruising around the outdoor mall with a basket of lollipops.

Pool boy.

1-2-3: Christmas Outtakes

I laughed out loud when Maggie came in wearing her new (way too big) outfit from Grandma. After I adjusted the waistband and rolled up the sleeves (and fixed her hair) it was a little better.

Sick boy.

Google+ created this "action shot" from several pictures I took of Sienna playing with Jetta. Can you say, "creepy?"

1-2-3: I Can't Put My Arms Down

Getting snow gear for our family involved a lot of coordination and we somehow made it to the cabin without a coat in remotely Maggie's size. She wore Grandma June's coat instead.

This may be the first time I had a hard time finding a picture of Dalton. Since there was only one other decent photo of him, and he looks (and was) very ill, I went with this theme. Bonus: Princess boots. He tried to tell me they were for girls. Not so. All's fair in love and hand me down snow clothes. (PS: He had no problem with the coat.)

Cute face went out for a few runs after her nap. Wearing the same coat as Dalton.

Random Dalt

Bookworm

A nice lady at the park let Dalton play in her fancy car.

This is our celebratory pic for Dalton finding a toy that had been missing for months.
