Canada Day 4: Lake Minnewanka and Elevation Place

In the morning, we went for a walk around Lake Minnewanka.  We saw a fox, played with the rocks on the shore, and enjoyed an easy hike in a little rain.

In the afternoon, we went to Elevation Place, a rec center where we did rock climbing and swimming. The kids begged to go back, so we actually did that two days.

Arthur is 40"!

Arthur has hit the magical height of 40". Our plan of having four kids so we can all go on roller coasters together is complete.

Canada Day 3: Columbia Ice Field

Driving up to the Columbia Icefield.

Being stupidly close to a bear.

Short hike to Peyto Lake, with Arthur sized trees.

Ice Explorer ride on the glacier. Arthur was not impressed.

 Stop at Mistaya Falls on the drive back. Another short hike off the highway. It started pouring rain as soon as we got back to the car.
