John's Birthday: Sushi & Dim Sum

Happy Birthday to John!
Playing at Cubbon Park.
Snapped this pic as our ride pulled up, tinted windows and all. Maggie hopped in and slammed the door. She would have no part of the paparazzi session.

I took this picture of the kids with birthday paraphernalia because they were reminding me of before & after pictures of Leonard and I attending a birthday party when we were small.

Indian Portraits

We finally got our family portraits back today. For some reason they look horrible in Blogger, but they are really nice quality. Also, I put my sari on all by myself. Hah.

July in India

Yoga.
Roasting a lemon on a stick over a fire.
Waving to Daddy.
Maggie learns to use the camera. (That's the housekey dangling from my finger. And yes, I'm on the [tiny] phone.)
Lots of rain. This was the best pic I could get of the puddle that forms instantly on our balcony when it rains.
In the elevator (something I will NOT miss).
Trash collection.
Pile of nastiness.
And more trash.
Story time.
Maggie is reading a homemade board book from Aunt Rachel called, "Maggie Went to Hong Kong."

Couches and Chickens

Maggie was fascinated watching these men recover a couch from the 1st floor library window. Would you buy one of those mattresses? Or attend that clinic?
And, see the poor chickens at the chicken and mutton stall next door? We drove by here again today and I showed Maggie some chickens hanging in a stall down the street. "Where are the live chickens?" she asked. We drove by this store and found some still there.

Bangalore: Fantasy Mini Golf

Went mini-golfing today. Dalton being strangely calm in the car.
Fantasy Golf Resort
Possibly the best photograph ever taken.
I just can't capture how cute his jiggly, red cheeks are when he runs.
