Went mini-golfing today. Dalton being strangely calm in the car.

I just can't capture how cute his jiggly, red cheeks are when he runs.

4th of July Weekend

Just another weekend in India. Here's Maggie and her bad self after church. She's got a "Jesus Christ Loves Me" necklace on, and a nutella pancakewich.
Daddy set up a big fancy campout.
Saturday we went to a mall. We used a few free credits at the arcade place (with Chuck E Cheese hand me downs).
The best is the mini bowling.
Dalton getting into position.
We had lunch at Toscano. My lasagna looked a lot better than it tasted. Well, the bread and salad is what looks good, I guess and it was.
John and I went shopping on Friday night to spend a gift certificate he got. We bought this cute outfit for Maggie (size 6/7).
And these fun Bangalore map pillows for ourselves.

Crappy Crafts Round-Up

Here are a few things I've made (or tried to make) lately. First up, a bag for all the kids' balls. I bought the fabric for this project months ago. I finally sat down and spent naptime hand-stitching a drawstring sack.
Dalton loves it.
Apparently it makes a great pull-toy.
Made myself a quick headband from You Seriously Made That!?. I did make a flower to put on it, but Maggie was playing with it while I made the headband and I haven't seen it since. I also didn't sew ribbon on mine, but just made extra chain stitches (mine is about 225) and tie it in the back. It's nothing special, but it's better than a plain ponytail.

I made a couple of t-shirt pompoms from one of many t-shirts that won't be coming home with me. They didn't turn out very well, and were quite time-consuming. I think they look more like something you'd wash a car with. Oh well.
The kids played with them for a couple days, then I threw them away.

Ball Activities

Dalton got a pack of 25 cheap plastic balls for Christmas. We've been having lots of fun with them lately. In addition to the activities below, we've taken them in the bathtub and pool.

Indoor Cricket. We only have one bat, so one of them uses a wooden spoon. Also, this is more like croquet than cricket.
Crib Toys.
And in our blow-up pool. It almost works like a ball pit. Almost.

More Random June
