Train to Visit Pat

My first time taking the train.  I went up by myself to visit Pat for a few days. 

We ate a lot.

Also we went to the Apple store and got her a new laptop and I set it up and her printer and she was incredibly grateful.  Glad I could be of use.

Long Weekend with Pat

The middle kids and I drove up to see Aunt Pat over a long weekend.  We spent a lot of time at the beach. I think we went to like 6 different beaches.

 

OC Zoo Trip

 Took a couple friends to the OC Zoo

Library Card Day

We had to drive to LA to renew our library cards, oh darn.

 

Prestons Visit

We had a great visit with the Preston Family.

We went to Joshua Tree without Wally, and hiking and star-gazed.

Lots of beach time.

Cheap-o Angels tickets.

Boys went climbing.

Pickle lemonade (no)

Night swimming

And a screen-free day to cap it off.  

Boys played the world's longest game of Monopoly

And the grownups did a puzzle.

Adult dinner out.

This year's Joshua Tree trip was marred by a runaway easy-up and a runaway Wally.
