Sri Aurobindo Hand Made Paper Factory

No photography is allowed, so we had to buy lots of stuff to bring home instead!

They had everything: paper in sheets from mini-origami sizes to full poster-board size, and every different thickness and texture. They had dozens of different notebooks and boxes, hand-painted note cards, paper lanterns, gift bags, etc etc. It was beautiful and even better than I imagined.

Pondicherry: Promenade, Bharathi Park and Hotel

We walked on the Promenade on all three days of our stay in Pondicherry. French-ish buildings on one side, Bay of Bengal on the other.

Dalton fell off a chair at the cricket match and got scratched by the sand.

Maggie fell face-first on the flat of the slide. I'm not sure why it gave her such a big bruise. This was five days later.

Cricket and Other Insects

EY sponsored a Sports Day. Full-on breakfast & lunch, 5 team cricket tournament, track races, face painting, the works.

Dalton is still a little small to be a cricket player.

But that didn't stop him from trying.

He made friends with the Midwest team. Guys that did their US rotation in Minnesota.

The West team (which is ours, get it?) cheerleaders even had a snare drum.

And they had caricatures.

And a millipede.

With Maggie's foot so you can see how big it was.

We also found this butterfly today on the wall near our balcony.

It looked like a leaf at first.
